Badlands Sunset and Night Sky Tour – an unforgettable experience!

Badlands. Sunsets. Stars. Wine. Yes please!  The Badlands are a magical spot in the late evening, when the heat of the day is residing and the wildlife becomes more active.  Experiencing a Badlands sunset is like no other place, with the sun dropping down off the horizon with the martian terrain of the Badlands in the foreground and the silhouettes of the Black Hills off on the horizon. The colors pop, the wildlife comes alive – truly an unforgettable experience!

What We Do:

After pick up in Rapid City, on this tour we enjoy late afternoon scenic cruise through Badlands National Park before setting up a table, uncorking some wine and snacks,  and enjoying the relaxing departure of the day’s sunlight and the arrival of the stars. We cruise back through the moonlight on our way back to Rapid City after the sun has set. Plenty of time to stop, take photos, enjoy walks. This tour runs at your pace.

Pick up time is typically between 2-4:30pm, depending on the sunset time. This tour runs about 6-7 hours.

Ask us about staying later to enjoy the  Badlands National Park Night-Sky Program, where we can utilize incredible telescopes in the National Park, with next to no light pollution.

This is a private tour, pricing is as follows:

$725 + tax/up to 2 people
$199 + tax each additional person

Wine, snacks, national park entrance all included with tour fee!

Other Things to Know:

We us either our 2014 Mercedes Sprinter for larger groups, or luxury SUV for smaller groups for this tour.
